Sustainability Design Practices

Redline Design Group is extremely committed to protecting the environment. Whether it is through sustainable design practices or recycling & waste reduction efforts in our office, we strive to do our part in preserving our planet for future generations.

Redline Design Group is a corporate member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) as well as a member in the local Charlotte, NC Chapter. Through these organizations, we are able to educate ourselves and our clients on being Good Stewards. This responsibility dictates that we take every effort to educate our clients on their responsibilities to the environment as well. We provide cost-effective design solutions that the owner can participate in at little or no cost. We also provide design & systems options that entail a small amount of initial cost, but have big pay-backs over the Life-Cycle Costs of the building.

Redline is extremely familiar with LEED Certification, having already guided several clients through the process. A few notes of distinction; Redline Design Group designed the first privately owned LEED Gold Certified Commercial Interiors project in Charlotte as well as the first LEED Certified NASCAR shop facility in the region. As our record shows, we continue to strive to be leaders in promoting Sustainable Design practices that benefit our communities.
