Airport Business Center
The Airport Business Center is an interior upfit project for Charlotte Douglas International Airport designed to provide travelers with the ability to conduct business while laying over or waiting on flights. Complete with 11 full-service docking stations for laptoppers to have high-speed DSL internet & phone connection as well as a full-service copy and printing station and available conference rooms, this project promises to alleviate travel stress for business men and women for years to come.
The space is designed to reflect elements of modern technologies with sleek lines, innovative finishes and pioneering looks for furniture systems. Customer privacy is addressed through furniture systems, acoustic fabrics and white noise systems rather than the typical floor to ceiling stalls used in other airports. Corporate sponsorship plays a key role in the design and presentation of the space. Incorporating gracious amounts of clear glass for customer visibility of the services combined with graphics and signage to create image and branding help draw customers to the space for potential utilization of these unique services. Located adjacent to a main concourse food court, this space is ideally situated to do well in the market while providing a much-needed amenity to busy travelers.
