Cary Hummer

The newest addition to the existing Cary Automall, this little jewel of a building cannot be judged by its cover. The seemingly simple stucco façade and colonnade only mask the dramatic interior experience. The normal Hummer brand exterior is a quanzi hut-like structure with arches and lots of glass. However, due to existing context and zoning restrictions, REDLINE was charged with capturing the drama on the interior. With an exposed steel structure, large industrial fans, natural stone floors, industrial looking millwork and merchandise display, and dramatic oversized lifestyle graphics; the interior captures the imagination of the customer and helps them visualize the Hummer lifestyle, and the interior echoes the masculine, industrial feel of the vehicles and the brand.
