NewDominion Bank

NewDominion Bank is an exciting new business venture by a group of bank executives who's goal is to create a unique, customer-oriented banking experience for small business owners. Building relationships with fewer, select clients is their concept. Redline was commisioned to design their initial concept branch bank which will help NDB test the market and their approach. Future roll-out branches will be in the future if NDB is successful with their unique approach. This branch space is customer-friendly with Customer Service Representative offices immediately adjacent to the self-service counters. Their open-door plan encourages open, friendly dialogue between customer and service provider. The interior of the space is simple and refined to reflect the business strategy. Brand images and graphic walls help commuciate the company's mission to the customer. A simple, warm interior finish palette helps make the customer feel comfortable in the space while the cool accent colors highlight the Bank's brand image.

Redline was also used to design the company's corporate headquarters within the same up-fit. With over 20 employees, efficient use of space was crucial, while making the space feel open and flowing. A central bank of workstations flanked by individual offices helps keep visibility while allowing the maximum amount of natural light to reach all the interior spaces. Again, a simple and clean palette was used and tied directly into the customer zones. In a few areas, radial floor patterns were used to reinforce the corporate logo. The short time frame and modest budget allowed Redline to show its abilities to work fast and within budget.
