This project is currently under construction to be a family-owned brewery in the heart of downtown Huntersville. This renovation is of the former Huntersville Police Department and the goal is to provide a brewhouse and public taproom. The intent is to open up the interior, expose the existing structure, and directly connect the taproom to the outdoor patios. A 16’-0” W fully glazed overhead door provides a pass through with a pedestrian walkway between two outdoor patios – one covered outdoor patio with motorized louvers and one open with food truck access. A nautical theme is implied in the design without being too literal. The existing brick and banding is being painted blue and white with light bronze aluminum frames to represent this aesthetic as well. Over the bar features a wood coffered chevron ceiling with ornamental detailing on the back of the bar and a scrabble inspired menu board.
